Implement Security Service for Preventing Internet Attacks
Fajkus, Karel ; Trchalík, Roman (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
The main purpose of this work is to design and implement a system, that would allow to ban users based on their actions. Currently, cyber attacks have become very common, which leads to a necessity to develop great application and system protections. This project offers a solution, that could decrease a number of cyber attacks, and also prevent banning common users because of the same public IP address as attacker.

Scientific Web Portal Generator
Mertel, Ján ; Škoda, Petr (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is dedicated to dealing with problems concerning automatic adding of relevant articles from some storage system, while respecting final goal of web portal. As a part of the thesis there is a support for portal personalization according to various options. Project focuses on working with articles generally, whose references are kept in database, and further actualization of the portal.
Web application for displaying cyber attacks in local networks
Matušicová, Viktória ; Mikulec, Marek (referee) ; Safonov, Yehor (advisor)
The information sphere is constantly and rapidly developing. This expansion means an increase in the risks of the Internet use. Vulnerabilities and other threats are emerging that provide an opportunity for unauthorized users to penetrate the integrity of protected infrastructures. The main goal of the bachelor’s thesis is to create a tool that allows the system administrator to perform the analysis of end stations in the local network. With the help of the web application, the administrator is able to view all computer attacks performed on his computer infrastructure. That makes it possible for him to implement countermeasures which will improve performance and security of the entire infrastructure. From a theoretical point of view, the bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of computer attacks on the data layer and network layer of the ISO/OSI model. Subsequently, it is focused on the structure of workplace involvement and web application. In the last part the work is focused on the design of the web application and its integration into the experimental workplace. Emphasis during the practical part is placed on the implementation of the workplace and web application on the local network. The practical part is divided into two implementation groups. Initially the experimental workplace is implemented within the local network. Here the web application focuses on the development of the server side – working with databases. In the second phase of implementation the experimental workplace is transferred into a real form. Following application features are added: various graphical displays, filtering and a section for user settings. Large emphasis is placed onto the security of the entire application – login system, server and client configuration settings. After the experimental workplace is connected with the web application, the functionality of the entire solution is tested by three different computer attacks. At the end of the thesis a brief conclusion and summary of the bachelor’s thesis is established.
Relational and NoSQL database for collecting data from IoT devices
Tomiczek, Roman ; Štůsek, Martin (referee) ; Šeda, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor work is focused on the analysis of the relational and NoSQL (Not only SQL) databases for collecting a huge amount of data from IoT (Internet of Things) device. Theoretical part contains an introduction to the problematic of the relational and NoSQL databases. The relational database describes fundamental principles, relational algebra, normal forms and so on. The non-relational database characterises the main properties and describes different types of typologies. It deals with the NoSQL documentation databases called Elasticsearch as well. Practical part contains a proposal and realization of the MySQL database, realization non-relational database Elasticsearch as well as JavaFx application for measurement of database parameters. Further contains results of the measurement of parameters and properties of databases.
Multiword Expression Search on Android Mobile Devices
Babič, Vojtěch ; Kouřil, Jan (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis explores current mobile dictionary user interfaces focusing on multiword expression search support. The goal of this thesis is to design a system which can index large dictionaries and then search in them effectively. An Android application which allows user to search in multiword expressions containing inflected forms quickly was developed to demonstrate the system. A second part describes dictionary formats, their usage and features. The first dictionary format is Lexical Markup Framework, in which source dictionaries are stored and which are used to create indexed dictionaries from. Another format explained is StarDict, which was meant to be a main storage format for the implemented Android application, but an own database dictionary format supporting full-text indexes was developed instead.
Application Service and Server Monitoring
Pleško, Filip ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis addresses an issue of monitoring servers and server aplications. The goal is to simplify this monitoring and make it more efficient. To do so, we used ELK stack. With the use of this stack we achieved to easily read from log files and show usefull informations from them.
Corpus Processing for Foreign Language Learning
Khudiakov, Daniil ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
Semantic Similarity of Texts
Bradáč, Václav ; Otrusina, Lubomír (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This paper deals with the determination of semantic similarity texts, focusing on scalability. Part of treatment is a theoretical overview of the tools to implement the system on test data. Tested corpus contains expert articles in the English language. The aim is to analyze these articles, modified to facilitate the analysis of their semantic analogues. One of the most utilized tools is a representation of data in a vector space model.
An Update of European Projects Portal and Its Enhancement by Identification of Results Related to New Call Topics
Furda, Jiří ; Kövári, Adam (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with modification of an existing web portal focused on results of European projects. The output of this thesis is a portal working with newer version of the engine Elasticsearch. Compared to the previous solution, this portal allows to search topics of new calls. The theoretical part of the thesis describes practises used in web developement and frameworks used in this thesis and their principles. The practical part specifies the functioning of the whole portal and describes a specific implementation. The result is evaluated at the end of the thesis based on experiments.
